Based out of Dallas, Texas, Theresa is an award-winning screenwriter, an acting coach, and a long-time member of the Screen Actors Guild.
As an acting coach, Theresa specializes in film and television scene study. Originally from Los Angeles, she studied with the late Roy London (coach to Sharon Stone, Michelle Pfeiffer, Brad Pitt, Geena Davis and many others), as well as Ivana Chubbuck, author of the book The Power of the Actor and coach to Halle Barry and Charlize Theron.
TBell Studios is located at Southside on Lamar, 1409 S. Lamar, #242, Dallas, TX 75215. There are currently has 3 evening classes: Monday—Intermediate, 6:30-9:30 p.m.; Tuesday—Beginner, 6:30-9:30 p.m.; and Wednesday—Advanced, 6:30-9:30 p.m. There is a waiting list for a Tuesday Intermediate day class, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. All classes meet once a week and go from month to month. The cost is $175/month. Aspiring students are encouraged to visit an observation class, held the first and second Wednesday of the month. Please email for an appointment. All actors will be required to audition for a place in class. Auditions for class placement are held on the third Wednesday of the month from 3:00-6:00 p.m.
Additional Classes—TBell also coaches Scene Study Intensives the 4th Saturday of the month from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
At this time, TBell only coaches adults, 17 and older.
